Readers identify men in photograph

Kay Rumbach responded to a request for information on the old photograph of three unknown gentlemen that ran in the Community section on April 2. She writes: "The gentleman on the right hand side is Charles Phelps and I believe the man in the middle is Elmer Baynton. They could be presenting a check from the FOE (Eagles Club.) Both men were active in the club. Mr. Phelps was my uncle."

Elizabeth Gore also submitted information on the April 2 Community photograph. She writes: "The man on the left in the photo is George Eikey. He was superintendant of the Grand Traverse school system during the 1940s. He was awarded the citizen of the year."
