Several readers wrote in about the archive photo that ran Nov. 12. Jean N. Bruce and Al Barnes were the two people identified in the group photo.

Daphne Fredrickson, of Traverse City, produced the original playbill from the Traverse City Civic Players production of "The Silver Whistle" staged Nov. 9-10, 1960, at the Senior High Auditorium. The play was directed by Ruth Mahaney.

Cast and crew in the photograph include: (front row, left to right) Alyse Boetel (Mrs. Sampler), unknown, Al Barnes (Mr. Beebe), Jean Bruce (Mrs. Gross) sitting in wheelchair, (middle row, left to right) Faith Skinner (Miss Hoadley), Dr. John Milliken (Mr. Beach), Dale Long (Mr. Cherry), The Rev. Father Francis Foley (Father Shay), Bill Long (Reverend Watson), Daphne Fredrickson (Miss Tripp), (back row, left to right) Barbara Bradford (set furnishings and props), unknown, Carl Kobbins (Oliver Erwenter), Bob Bradford (Policeman), unknown, Lyle Russell (The Bishop). Not pictured: Dawn Zimmerman (Mrs. Hanmer) and Bill Morey (Emmett).

Several other readers identified Dr. John Milliken as the man wearing the bow tie in the center of the photograph.
