The Grand Traverse Lighthouse is one of 12 lighthouses in the nation selected to be considered for the Jeld-Wen Reliable Lighthouse Restoration Initiative that would replace all of the 150 year old location-s windows and doors, including this kitchen window located in the caretaker-s residence. The contest is sponsored by Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors of Klamath Falls, Ore.
