Amber Metiva, of Traverse City, who danced eight years with the Kansas City Ballet and is now expecting her second baby, takes a class Thursday morning at the Ballet Etc. Dance Institute. Whether a retired professional ballerina, new student or devoted dancer as a youth now grown up, adults in ballet classes relish the physical, mental and creative challenges.
