The Cultural Italian American Organization al Villaggio hosted the first ever Bocce Tournament Saturday afternoon on the lawn of Building 50 in Traverse City. More than 60 players formed 16 teams to face off on temporary courts marked off for the event, which stretched into early evening because of intermittent rain.
