Scenic Heritage Route celebration

TRAVERSE CITY -- The Old Mission Scenic Heritage Route Committee will host a public celebration from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, at Fire Hall #2 on Center Highway in Peninsula Township. The 18-mile-long corridor has received official designation from the Michigan Department of Transportation as a scenic heritage route.
