Scripps set to be at Dems' holiday party

HONOR -- State Rep. Dan Scripps and other Democratic candidates are scheduled to attend the Benzie County Democratic Party's holiday party.

The party will be held Dec. 4 at the Platte River Association hall, east of Honor on U.S. 31.

A 5 p.m. social hour will be followed by a potluck dinner. Coffee, tea, rolls and some meats will be provided, but guests are asked to bring a dish to pass and, if desired, alcoholic beverages. Current members are encouraged to bring guests.
