Rangers host spring hockey tournament

The Grand Traverse Hockey Association's Pepsi Rangers Pee Wee AA hockey team hosted a spring tournament at Centre Ice this past weekend. The Rangers played the Flint Warriors Friday night, the Bay County Blizzard Saturday morning and the Kentwood Falcons Saturday evening. The team, comprised of many of the players who won the Pee Wee A division title and district title and represented District 7 at the State finals during the regular season, won all three games by a combined score of 18-4. Playing for the tournament championship on Sunday afternoon, the Rangers defeated the second place Bay County Blizzards by a score of 5-0.
