April 30, 2008 04:00 am Traverse Bay Area Youth Soccer (TBAYS) will be holding a celebration of soccer and springtime with a fundraiser to be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, May 4, at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City. All players and families past, current and future and fans of the game are invited to attend. Doors will open at 4 p.m.; dinner and cocktails will be served. A live and silent auction will take place during the event. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under, and free for children aged 3 and younger, and are available at the TBAYS/Just for Kicks office, McLain Cycle and Fitness locations, and at the door the day of the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit youth soccer programs in the community and all players in the TBAYS organization. Traverse Bay Area Youth Soccer (TBAYS) is a non-profit youth soccer organization that offers opportunities for over 1,200 players in northern Michigan aged 4-18 years. This year marks the 20th year that TBAYS has held games at its home fields on Keystone Road.
